ZesToraIntroduction
ZesToraX ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Shopify applications and services.
By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
Store Information
When you install our Shopify apps, we collect:
- Store name and domain
- Store owner's email address
- Store currency and timezone settings
Order and Product Data
The specific data each app accesses depends on what that app does, and is always limited to what it needs — some of our apps (e.g. RestockClear) request no write access to your store and collect no customer-identifying information at all. In general, our apps may access:
- Order information (order values, discounts, refunds, fulfillment status)
- Product and inventory information (titles, costs, stock levels)
- Transaction fees and shipping costs
- For apps whose core function requires it (e.g. loyalty tracking or order-status notifications), the customer's name and email address
This data is used solely to power that specific app's features — never sold, and never shared across apps you haven't installed.
Usage Data
We may collect information about how you interact with our apps, including:
- Features used and preferences set
- Error logs for troubleshooting
- Session duration and frequency of use
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for:
- Providing Services: To calculate profit metrics, generate reports, and deliver app functionality
- Improving Our Apps: To understand usage patterns and enhance features
- Communication: To send important updates, alerts, and support responses
- Billing: To process subscription payments through Shopify's billing system
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission
- Secure cloud infrastructure with regular security updates
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in these circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party services that help us operate our apps (e.g., hosting providers, email services)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your app is installed and your account is active. Upon uninstallation:
- Your store data is deleted within 30 days
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained for service improvement
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about your store
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (by uninstalling the app)
